■ Professional Camera Store Comment
The Pentax 645 is a highly respected medium format SLR camera that combines the image quality advantages of larger film formats with the usability of a 35mm-style camera system. Designed for both professional and serious enthusiast photographers, it offers an excellent balance between performance, handling, and portability in the medium format world.

One of the biggest strengths of the Pentax 645 is its 6×4.5 format, which provides significantly higher resolution and smoother tonal gradation compared to 35mm film, while maintaining a relatively compact and ergonomic body design. This makes it an ideal choice for landscape, portrait, and studio photography where image quality is a top priority.

Unlike many traditional medium format systems, the Pentax 645 features built-in motorized film advance and automatic exposure modes, allowing for a faster and more intuitive shooting experience. This makes it particularly appealing to photographers transitioning from 35mm SLR cameras who want to step into medium format without sacrificing ease of use.

The camera also benefits from Pentax’s excellent lineup of 645 lenses, known for their sharpness, contrast, and natural color rendering. Combined with the camera’s reliable metering system and solid construction, it delivers consistent and high-quality results in a wide range of shooting conditions.

For photographers seeking the distinctive look and superior detail of medium format film with the convenience of modern SLR operation, the Pentax 645 remains an outstanding and practical choice even today.

Everything shown in the photos is included in the package.
