The Zenza Bronica Tele-Converter S 2X is a dedicated 2x teleconverter developed for the classic Bronica SQ medium-format system. The main advantage of the Tele-Converter S 2X is its ability to double the effective focal length of a compatible lens. This provides substantially greater reach for portraits, landscapes and distant subjects while retaining the modular flexibility for which the Bronica SQ system is well known.

Unlike a simple extension tube, this is an optical teleconverter containing 6 elements in 5 groups. Bronica specifically included the Tele-Converter S 2X in the optical specifications section of the SQ-A system documentation. It measures approximately 53mm in length and weighs approximately 500g, reflecting the substantial construction expected of a professional 6×6 medium-format accessory.
