■ WHY WE RECOMMEND THIS LENS
As a specialized camera store in Japan, we highly recommend the NIKON NIKKOR-H Auto 50mm f/2 Non-Ai to vintage lens collectors and modern digital photographers alike. Renowned among optical historians and Nikon enthusiasts as one of the sharpest 50mm standard primes ever produced by Nikon, this lens (where "H" signifies Hexa, or its 6-element construction) delivers flat-field sharpness, remarkably low distortion, and balanced contrast across the frame.

While many f/1.4 lenses sacrifice wide-open clarity for maximum aperture size, the NIKKOR-H 50mm f/2 was engineered for extreme resolution and edge-to-edge sharpness right from f/2. It produces crisp subject separation paired with smooth, subtle out-of-focus background rendering (bokeh), rendering images with a distinctive vintage warmth and rich tonal transitions that evoke the golden age of film photography.

Crafted with an all-metal barrel during the peak of Nikon's classic mechanical design, this lens offers smooth manual focusing control and crisp aperture clicks that make operating it a tactile joy. For modern mirrorless shooters (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, or Canon RF), it pairs seamlessly via inexpensive Non-Ai mount adapters, allowing you to capture high-resolution digital photographs infused with true analog optical character.Whether you are looking to complete a vintage film camera setup or seeking a highly sharp, character-rich standard prime for your digital mirrorless camera, this NIKKOR-H Auto 50mm f/2 is an exceptional performer and an unbeatable value.

Everything shown in the photos is included in the package.
