The Mamiya-Sekor C 210mm f/4 is a manual-focus telephoto lens for the Mamiya 645 medium format system. Mamiya lenses are well known for their sharpness and reliability, and this 210mm gives 645 shooters a classic short-telephoto field of view ideal for portraits and landscapes.

On the 6×4.5 format, the 210mm focal length provides a field of view similar to approximately 130mm on 35mm. This makes it excellent for head-and-shoulder portraits, compressed landscape views, and isolating details at a comfortable working distance.

The Sekor C optics are multi-coated, producing crisp, contrasty images with good resistance to flare. Combined with the large medium format negative, the lens delivers rich detail, smooth tonal gradation, and attractive background blur.

Build quality is solid, with a metal barrel and a smooth focusing action that is pleasant for careful, deliberate photography. Despite its focal length, the lens remains relatively manageable in size, making it practical for location work.

The lens fits the full range of manual-focus Mamiya 645 bodies, including the M645, M645 1000S, M645J, 645 Super, 645 Pro, and 645 Pro TL. It is an excellent complement to a standard 80mm lens in a 645 kit.

Mamiya 645 lenses are also popular for adapting to digital cameras. With a suitable adapter, the 210mm f/4 can be used on mirrorless systems such as Sony E, Fujifilm GFX, Nikon Z, and Canon RF, where it becomes a unique telephoto with excellent edge-to-edge performance thanks to its large image circle.

Medium format film continues to enjoy strong popularity, and the Mamiya 645 system remains one of the most practical and affordable ways to shoot it. Quality telephoto lenses like this one are essential tools for portrait and landscape work.

For Mamiya 645 photographers who want a dependable telephoto for portraits and landscapes, or digital shooters seeking a characterful medium format lens to adapt, the Mamiya-Sekor C 210mm f/4 is a solid and rewarding choice.
