The Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 is a classic M42 screw-mount standard lens from Asahi Optical that became one of the most widely used lenses of the 1960s, often supplied with the legendary Pentax Spotmatic. It is famous for its excellent sharpness, gentle character and exceptional mechanical quality.

With a 6-element, 5-group optical design, the lens delivers crisp detail, especially when stopped down, and a soft, pleasing glow at wider apertures.
