【Camera Specialist's Comment】

The Nikon NIKKOR-Q Auto 135mm f/2.8 is an appealing classic telephoto prime for photographers who appreciate the mechanical construction and distinctive character of early Nikon F-mount lenses.

The 135mm focal length is particularly useful for portrait photography. It provides a comfortable working distance and natural perspective compression, while the relatively bright f/2.8 maximum aperture allows photographers to separate the subject from the background effectively.

One of the most interesting aspects of this lens is its simple 4-element, 4-group optical construction. The "Q" designation in NIKKOR-Q refers to its four-element optical design, making it a recognizable part of Nikon's early NIKKOR lens history.

The lens also reflects the excellent mechanical engineering associated with classic Nikon equipment. Its substantial metal construction, large manual focusing ring, mechanical aperture control, and built-in retractable lens hood provide a very different shooting experience from modern electronic lenses.

Another practical advantage is the 52mm filter thread, a very common size shared by many classic Nikon lenses. This makes filters and other screw-in accessories relatively easy to use across a vintage NIKKOR collection.

For photographers using compatible Nikon film cameras, this lens offers an authentic classic Nikon shooting experience. It can also be an interesting option for adapting to modern mirrorless cameras, where focus magnification and focus-peaking functions can make manual focusing easier.

This is a Non-AI / Pre-AI Nikon F-mount lens. Compatibility varies significantly between camera bodies, and mounting a Non-AI lens on an incompatible Nikon camera may cause damage. Please confirm that your camera body accepts Non-AI lenses before mounting.

For vintage Nikon collectors, portrait photographers, and photographers interested in classic manual-focus lenses, the NIKKOR-Q Auto 135mm f/2.8 offers an attractive combination of a useful 135mm focal length, f/2.8 aperture, traditional Nikon construction, and classic photographic character.

Everything shown in the photos is included in the package.
