The Pentax SMC Takumar 55mm f/1.8 is one of the most beloved vintage standard lenses ever made. Produced by Asahi Optical in the early 1970s for the M42 screw mount, it features Pentax's famous Super-Multi-Coating and is widely praised for its sharpness, beautiful rendering and exceptional all-metal build.
