Professional Camera Store's Recommendation

The Konica Minolta AF DT 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6 (D) is the original version of the popular A-mount standard zoom that was later sold as the Sony DT 18-70mm. It covers a useful 27-105mm equivalent range on APS-C cameras.

Aspherical and ED glass elements give clear images with well-controlled distortion and colour fringing, and the 'D' distance encoder supports advanced ADI flash metering for more accurate flash exposures.

It is an ideal everyday lens for travel, landscapes, family photography and portraits, and it works on Konica Minolta and Sony A-mount digital bodies, including those with in-body stabilisation. With an LA-EA adapter it can be used on Sony E-mount cameras as well.

As a specialist camera store in Japan, we recommend this AF DT 18-70mm as an affordable, lightweight and versatile standard zoom for the A-mount system.
