📸 Camera Store Professional Comment

The Nikon AF NIKKOR 80-200mm f/2.8D ED New is one of Nikon’s most respected professional telephoto zoom lenses, widely trusted by photographers for its combination of optical excellence, durable construction, and classic Nikon rendering.

With a constant f/2.8 aperture across the zoom range, this lens performs exceptionally well in low-light situations and delivers beautifully smooth background separation for portrait, sports, and event photography. The ED glass elements minimize chromatic aberration and enhance contrast, resulting in crisp, high-quality images even at longer focal lengths.

Built with a robust metal construction and equipped with a tripod collar for stability, this lens reflects Nikon’s professional heritage from the golden era of F-mount optics. It remains highly sought after today by both film shooters and digital photographers who appreciate its reliable performance and timeless image character.

A legendary professional telephoto zoom offering outstanding sharpness, solid build quality, and classic Nikon color rendition.
