The 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 Fisheye is a compact, all-metal manual-focus fisheye lens designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, here in the Fujifilm X mount. It delivers an extreme field of view of around 190 degrees, opening up a world of creative perspectives.

Optically, the lens produces crisp images with strong, characteristic fisheye curvature. Its fast f/2.8 maximum aperture is unusual for an ultra-wide lens and makes it useful for night skies, interiors and low-light scenes.

The lens is built with a solid metal barrel and smooth, well-damped focus and aperture rings, giving it a quality feel that suits the classic-style handling of Fujifilm cameras. It is small and light enough to carry everywhere.

With an extremely short minimum focusing distance of about 12.5cm, you can get very close to subjects for dramatic, exaggerated perspectives with wide surroundings. The extended depth of field at this focal length makes zone focusing easy.

It is ideal for creative landscapes, astrophotography, skateboarding and action sports, architecture, interiors, and playful street photography. Fisheye images can also be de-fished in software for an ultra-wide rectilinear look.

The lens is fully manual with no electronic contacts, so simply enable the "Shoot Without Lens" setting on your Fujifilm camera. Focus peaking and magnification make focusing simple, and aperture-priority exposure works normally.

Today, affordable, well-built manual lenses like this are valued for giving photographers access to specialized creative focal lengths without a large investment.

We recommend this fisheye to Fujifilm X shooters who want a fun, high-quality creative lens for unique perspectives.
